BudgetPulse is built on a simple promise: your money data is yours, and we never stand between you and your bank.
We never ask for your bank login
No online-banking passwords, no screen-scraping, no third-party credential handoff. You add transactions yourself or import a statement file you already have.
Export everything, one click
Download your entire account — entries, categories, goals, recurring payments and preferences — as a single JSON file, any time.
Delete on your terms
Close your account whenever you want. Deletion removes your personal data from our database.
No ad trackers
Product analytics are first-party and self-hosted — we don't embed third-party advertising or tracking scripts, and we don't sell your data.
How your data is protected
- Encrypted in transit. All traffic is served over HTTPS.
- Passwords are hashed. We store a one-way hash of your password, never the password itself.
- Least data. We only collect what the app needs to work — your transactions, categories, goals and preferences.
- You stay in control. Correct, export, or delete your data at any time from Settings.
What we do with analytics
To understand whether BudgetPulse is genuinely useful, we record a small number of first-party product events (for example: signup, login, and when a transaction is added). These are aggregated to measure activation and retention. They are stored on our own infrastructure and are not shared with advertising networks.
Optional integrations
If you choose to connect the Telegram bot, messages you send it are processed to log transactions and answer questions. You can stop using it at any time. Nothing is connected unless you set it up yourself.
